I Love Coffee…A Lot.

Seriously, ever since I can remember, I have loved coffee.

In more recent years, I have had a slight addiction to it – I don’t use ‘normal size’  cups, mine are pint size or larger.

Give me coffee in the morning (obviously!), give me coffee midday, hell, give me coffee at night – I love it all the time! Just don’t give me Decaf!

With all this said, I have never truly appreciated it until recently – thanks to the 21 Day Fix.

(Yes, I know, shut up already about how amazing the 21 Day Fix is!)

Let me get to my point: When I started the 21 Day Fix, I gave up my creamer so I would not have to give up my coffee.

I have not added sugar to my coffee for a while, but to give up my delicious-flavorful-creamer-that-makes-it-not-so-black-and-in-my-mind-helps-to-not-stain-my-teeth-so-bad?

I died a little inside. How would I enjoy my delicious liter of coffee in the morning without it being a light tan & vanilla flavored?

But, I wanted to commit to success & creamer had useless calories and no nutrition, so I took the plunge.

First, I started with vanilla flavoring, almond milk, & a little agave nectar. Eh, a little bitter, but I NEEDED my coffee!

I also tried adding coconut oil & vanilla flavoring. According to Pinterest, it was supposed to be awesome. Apparently I had a Pinterest fail, because I did not like it & it left an oily film in my mouth. Eck.

Now, for the past month or two, I have been drinking my coffee straight up.

Never in my life did I think I would be here. And what’s more, I enjoy it. To the point where I do not even consider or get tempted to put creamer or sugar or flavoring in it.

So let me end my pointless post with how I started it: I love coffee. A lot.
